ROB MCNICHOLS
Rob hails from the Midwest, born in suburban Chicago, Illinois. A self-taught tennis player, he soon became a high school champion and Illinois State Scholar at Lewis University in nearby Lockport.
He was offered a tennis scholarship to Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where he earned All American honors and was a nationally ranked player, majoring in Business Administration.
Parlaying his interest in and knowledge of the game, Rob quickly became an in-demand instructor coaching nationally-ranked junior players. He then moved to Sarasota where he continued coaching and managed operations for several exclusive tennis clubs from Coral Gables to East Hampton, NY. After his many successes in tennis, Rob began concentrating on another creative passion he had in designing and re-modeling homes. He remodeled and flipped homes in Sarasota where he lived for 25 years. He then became a project manager for a real estate investor, managing a $50m real estate portfolio for 8 years. He is an award-winning interior designer/landscaper with a knack for short-term rental property management.
Rob owns and manages properties in Fort Lauderdale as well as equipping them as 5-star rental properties. His company, Lauderdale Pride Rentals, is growing quickly and brings together all of Rob's passions and talents.
